Cara Welch

Senior Director, Communications at Colorado Hospital Association

Cara Welch has extensive work experience in the field of communications and marketing. Cara started their career at Schenkein, where they worked as an intern and then held positions as an Account Coordinator, Account Executive, and Senior Account Executive. In 2008, they joined Rose Medical Center as a PR & Communications Specialist, and later became the Marketing Manager. Since 2015, Cara has been employed at the Colorado Hospital Association, initially as the Director of Communications and now as the Senior Director of Communications.

Cara Welch pursued their Bachelor of Arts degree in Communication from the University of Wyoming from 1999 to 2003. Later, they completed their Master of Business Administration (MBA) from the University of Colorado Denver between 2005 and 2008.
