Robert Vissers

Robert Vissers is an accomplished healthcare leader with extensive experience in emergency medicine and health administration. Currently serving as Chairperson for the Colorado Hospital Association since September 2021, Robert has also been President and CEO of Boulder Community Health since May 2014. In addition, Robert contributes to the academic community as a faculty member in the HealthCare Executive MBA Program at the University of Colorado Denver. Prior roles include instructor and adjunct associate professor at Oregon Health & Science University, various leadership positions at Legacy Emanuel Hospital, and serving as President and CEO of Northwest Acute Care Specialists. Robert's early career included key roles at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and Brigham and Women's Hospital. Robert holds an MBA in Health Administration from OHSU-PSU School of Public Health and an MD from Western University, along with a BS from the same institution.
