Meghan Dougherty

Meghan Dougherty is an accomplished Communications Manager at the Colorado Lottery since November 2019 and the Consultant/Owner/Founder of Dougherty Relations since March 1996, showcasing extensive expertise in media relations and marketing communications. Meghan serves as a Counselor for CIG, assisting clients with media relations strategies, and co-authored "The Dorothy’s Derby Chronicles," a unique roller derby book series for tweens. Previous roles include serving as Communications Director for notable political campaigns, including Lorena Garcia for Senate and Jamie Giellis for Denver, as well as a Director of Marketing, Communications and Development for Oral Health Colorado. Meghan's career began at HWH PR/New Media and progressed through various leadership positions, supported by a Bachelor of Science in Journalism from New York University.
