Wilderness Medicine Program Coordinator - Volunteer at The Colorado Mountain Club

Leisa Grant is an experienced professional in emergency medical services and outdoor education, currently serving as Field Staff and Coordinator of Volunteers at HistoriCorps since August 2023. Leisa maintains a volunteer role as Wilderness Medicine Program Coordinator and Instructor with The Colorado Mountain Club since October 2018. As a Volunteer Firefighter with Lefthand Fire Protection District since May 2023, Leisa contributes to community safety efforts. In addition, Leisa is the Founder of All-Terrain MedX, established in October 2020. Previous experience includes roles as an Emergency Medical Technician and Event Operations Coordinator with EMS Unlimited, where responsibilities involved coordinating medical coverage for various events. Leisa also worked with Mobile Life Support Services as an Emergency Medical Technician from February 2022 to February 2023 and served for over two decades in the United States Air Force in roles such as Public Affairs Specialist and Aircrew Life Support Technician. Leisa holds a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and Government from the University of Colorado Boulder and completed training at Remote Medical Training in 2019.
