Jason Antin has a diverse work experience in various roles related to mountain guiding, outdoor adventure, and business development. Jason is currently working as a Professional Guide and the Director of Group Experience & Partnerships at Colorado Mountain School since March 2020. In addition, they are a Mountain Athlete and Ambassador for onXmaps, Inc. starting from May 2021. Jason is also the Co-Founder and Co-Executive Producer of Beat Monday since October 2016, aiming to create epic weekend adventures and build a community of adventure enthusiasts. Jason is a Support Member of the Rocky Mountain Rescue Group since May 2020, contributing to search and rescue efforts. Jason is a Mountain Athlete for Oberalp Group, and a Mountain Performance Coach for Uphill Athlete, both since 2021. Moreover, they are the Owner and Guide of Alpenglow Mountain Guides since January 2013. Jason has also worked as a Mountain Athlete for COROS Wearables, Inc. since February 2020, and as the Managing Director of Alpenglow Experience Management LLC since August 2013. Prior to these roles, they served as a Climbing Guide for Denver Mountain Guiding since May 2011, specializing in rock and alpine climbing.
Jason Antin completed their education with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Sociology, Psychology, and Physiology from St. Lawrence University, where they studied from 2002 to 2006. Prior to that, they obtained a high school diploma in General Studies from Acton Boxborough Regional High School, where they attended from 1998 to 2002. In their earlier education, Jason attended The Fenn School from 1993 to 1997; however, the specific degree and field of study are not provided for this period. Additionally, Jason has acquired various certifications in outdoor and mountain guiding, avalanche research and education, rock climbing, and emergency medical services from different institutions, such as the American Mountain Guides Association, American Avalanche Institute, American Institute for Avalanche Research and Education, Leave No Trace Center For Outdoor Ethics, and the National Registry of Emergency Medical Technicians. The obtained certifications span from 2008 to 2023, with the most recent certifications including Certified Alpine Guide, Single-Pitch Instructor Provider, and Advanced Ski Guide Course/Aspirant Exam, among others.
