Sarah Wager

Sarah Wager is an accomplished audit executive with extensive experience in governmental auditing. Since March 2019, Sarah has served as the Chief Audit Executive and Director of Internal Audit at Colorado PERA. Prior to this role, Sarah was the Director of the Office of Administrative Solutions at the Colorado Department of Human Services from December 2013 to March 2019. Earlier in Sarah's career, a tenure at the Colorado Office of the State Auditor from July 1995 to December 2013 as Legislative Audit Manager involved conducting financial, performance, and IT audits of state government programs. Sarah holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting from the University of Colorado Denver, obtained between 1992 and 1995.
