Lisa Barbato

Lisa Barbato is an experienced professional in the field of water resource management, currently serving as the Chief System Planning & Projects Officer at Colorado Springs Utilities since December 2010. With a career spanning over two decades at the same organization, Lisa's previous roles include General Manager of the Energy Supply Department and Manager of Water Resource Recovery Facilities, where leadership in wastewater operations and strategic planning was demonstrated. Prior experience includes project management at KIOWA Engineering Corporation and Kirkham Michael, focusing on municipal water and wastewater treatment projects. Lisa holds a Master of Science in Civil Engineering from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln and a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry from Creighton University.
