Mario Arango

Mario Arango currently serves as an Associate Instructor at Colorado State University and previously held the position of Associate General Counsel at Danaher Corporation, focusing on data privacy leadership across multiple companies. Prior experience includes roles as Assistant Attorney General for the Utah Attorney General's Office, where guidance was provided to Snow College on various legal matters, and as an Intellectual Property & Privacy Attorney at Barnes & Thornburg LLP, where training on emerging licensing issues was developed. Mario also served as an Associate Attorney at Meitus Gelbert Rose LLP, guest lecturing on entertainment law topics, and as an Intellectual Property and Cyber Security Fellow Attorney at Indiana University Bloomington, where a significant copyright lawsuit was dismissed. Mario holds a Doctor of Law degree in Intellectual Property Law from Indiana University Maurer School of Law and a Bachelor's degree in Music Performance and Education from Indiana University Jacobs School of Music.
