Milena Guajardo

Milena Guajardo, MPH, currently serves as the Interdisciplinary Project & Outreach Coordinator at Colorado State University, bringing extensive experience in public health and community engagement. Prior roles include Bilingual Community Projects Coordinator at La Cocina, where Milena oversaw grant-funded programs focused on equity, diversity, and inclusion, and Accountable Care Collaboration Program Specialist at the Colorado Department of Health Care Policy & Financing, managing Medicaid service improvements. Milena also contributed as a Spanish Language Consultant for the University of Colorado Anschutz Medical Campus, focusing on early childhood education, and as a Public Health Specialist at the United Way of Larimer County, coordinating bilingual resources for families. Experience at the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention included significant work as a Biologist and Epidemiologist during the COVID-19 response. Milena holds a Master’s Degree in Epidemiology from the Colorado School of Public Health and a Bachelor’s Degree in Combined Sciences from Santa Clara University.
