Product Development Scientist III at Colorcon

Amelia Thomas has a diverse work experience in the field of scientific research and development. Amelia is currently working as a Product Development Scientist II at Colorcon®, starting in September 2022. Prior to that, they worked at GSK as a Bench Scientist from January 2022 to August 2022. In this role, they led the development of buffers and collaborated with different teams to coordinate audit projects. Amelia also worked at AgroFresh as a Formulation and Analytical Chemist from September 2021 to January 2022, where they assisted with product formulation and analyzed data for post-harvest preservation. Before that, they had a long-term role at Frontier Scientific, Inc. where they worked as a Herbicide Discovery Associate Scientist from April 2019 to September 2021. Amelia also worked at Frontier Scientific as a Research Assistant from October 2018 to April 2019, where they managed inventory and participated in line management.

Amelia Thomas attended Penn State University from 2014 to 2018, where they pursued a degree in Agriculture Sciences, with a focus on Agriculture, Agriculture Operations, and Related Sciences. In addition to their formal education, Amelia has obtained various certifications in different areas. Amelia acquired these certifications between April 2020 and September 2020.
