Alex Merege

Alex Merege has extensive experience in the agricultural and seed industry, having worked at Bayer since January 2005 and holding multiple leadership roles, including Senior Vice President - Head of Product Supply LATAM and VP and Global Head Market Area Rice. Alex has been instrumental in building and developing a Seeds organization at Bayer, establishing processes for a functional Seeds business within a traditional Chemical and Pharmaceutical company. Previously, positions included Marketing and Sales General Manager at Bayer Seeds Ltda and Marketing Strategist at Aventis Seeds Ltda, with foundational experience as a Marketing Coordinator at Monsanto Company. Alex holds an MBA from Insper Instituto de Ensino e Pesquisa and additional qualifications from ESPM and Pontifícia Universidade Católica de Campinas.
