Alvin Wong

Alvin Wong has over 20 years of work experience, starting with their role as a Tax Accountant at LambertsBRS from July 2002 to January 2004. Alvin then worked as a Project Accountant at Sensis from May 2007 to January 2008. Alvin then joined Lafarge Malayan Cement in April 2004, where they held the position of Operations Controller - Cement Division until March 2017. During their time there, they were responsible for reporting, budgeting, and forecasting, as well as performing control functions for the Malaysia division. Alvin then moved on to the Yamako Group of Companies in April 2017, where they served as a Financial Controller until March 2018. Currently, Alvin works at Columbia Asia Malaysia, starting as Financial Controller in April 2018, and now serving as the Chief Financial Officer since March 2022.

Alvin Wong attended Chong Hwa Independent High School Kuala Lumpur from 1991 to 1996. Alvin then pursued a Bachelor of Commerce degree, with a specialization in Accounting and Corporate Finance, at the University of Adelaide from 2000 to 2002.
