Brian W. Murphy

Mr. Murphy joined Columbia Bank in 1981 as a Management Trainee. Upon completion of the bank’s Management Training Program, he was promoted to Branch Manager. Mr. Murphy has also held various positions within the Retail division, including Branch Administrator and Senior Vice President, Branch Administration Officer. He was appointed Executive Vice President, Operations Officer in 2009.

Mr. Murphy serves as both Chairman of the Finance Committee for Our Lady of Good Counsel Church and Planning Board Chairman in the Township of Washington. He also is a past member of the Archdiocese of Newark School Board and a past Chairman of the North Jersey Regional Chamber of Commerce.

Mr. Murphy earned a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting from William Paterson University. He also graduated with Honors from the National School of Banking in Fairfield, Connecticut.
