Babette Bilger

Babette Bilger is an accomplished compliance and governance professional with extensive experience in BSA/AML and OFAC regulations. Currently serving as VP & Director of Governance & Training at Umpqua Bank since May 2017, Babette also holds the position of VP & Deputy BSA Officer. Previously, Babette was actively involved with the West Coast AML Forum as a Board Member and President. Past roles include positions at Bank of the West as AVP and BSA/AML Risk Assessment Officer, as well as independent consulting for various financial institutions. Education includes an Associate of Arts degree in Fine Arts from Diablo Valley College.
