Ben Decherd is an experienced UX and CX researcher and strategist currently leading customer research and experience strategy at Umpqua Bank since June 2019. With a robust background in consumer product and UX research, Ben previously managed research efforts at Particle Design and served as a Lead Consumer Research Consultant for Nike, where insights informed digital experiences. Additional consultancy roles, including work at Tinder Labs and HUEN, involved extensive consumer research and the development of strategic solutions for prominent brands. Ben's academic qualifications include two M.A. degrees in Design Management and Industrial Design from the Savannah College of Art and Design, and a BA in Studio Art/Environmental Science from Willamette University.
