Dirk Matthews is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in higher education and the arts. Currently serving as Interim Vice President of Development and Alumni Relations at Columbia College Chicago, Dirk has successfully increased alumni engagement by 10% within three months and has held various roles within the institution, including Senior Director of Alumni Relations and Adjunct Faculty. As Owner and Principal Photographer at Dirk Matthews Photography, Dirk specializes in architectural photography. Additionally, Dirk is a consultant for restoration projects related to the Chagall Archive and has held leadership positions such as President of the Board for Chicago Filmmakers. With a Master's in Industrial and Organizational Psychology and a Bachelor's in Film & Video, Dirk Matthews combines expertise in both management and the arts.
