Kubilay Uner

Kubilay Uner currently serves as the Director of the Music Composition for the Screen MFA program at Columbia College Chicago since September 2014. With extensive experience as a Music Composer and Producer at Kubimusic since June 1992, Uner specializes in the composition, production, and licensing of original music for various media including film, television, and advertising. Uner also held the position of Producer at the LA Composer Salons from March 2001 to January 2017, featuring over 200 composers. Additionally, Uner was involved as a Composer and Event Producer for the Film2Music Competition between 2006 and 2007 and worked as a music editor, programmer, and engineer for film composer David McHugh from 1992 to 1995. Uner holds an MFA in Music Composition from the California Institute of the Arts and has studied at Hochschule für Musik in Köln and Centre Acanthes.
