Peter Fitzpatrick

Peter Fitzpatrick currently serves as the Special Advisor for Community Engagement in the Office of the Provost at Columbia College Chicago since August 2011, focusing on aligning community engagement initiatives with the institution's commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion. Previous roles include Chair of Photography at Columbia College Chicago, where responsibilities encompassed leadership, policy development, and faculty management. Peter has also contributed to academia as a Lecturer in Photography and Acting Department Head at Australian National University, and as part-time faculty at TAFE NSW, alongside early experience at the Australian Center for Photography. Education credentials include a Master of Fine Arts in Visual Arts from UNSW and a Bachelor of Visual Arts in Photography from Nepean College of Advance Education.
