David Stone

David Stone has extensive experience in law enforcement and criminal justice, currently serving as a Damage Prevention Specialist at Columbia Gas of Virginia since March 2023. Stone has been an Adjunct Faculty member at Liberty University since 2011, focusing on research and writing for the Criminal Justice course. Previous roles include Field Services Representative with the Virginia Department of Criminal Justice Services, Police Specialist with the Chesterfield County Police Department, and Background Investigator for the Virginia Department of Corrections. Stone's law enforcement career includes a significant tenure as Police Major with the Chesterfield County Police Department from 1989 to 2018. Academic qualifications include a Master of Science in Criminology and Criminal Justice from Indiana State University, a Post Baccalaureate Certificate in Public Safety from Virginia Commonwealth University, and a Bachelor of Applied Science in Administration of Justice from Bluefield University.
