Janet Kraus

Janet Kraus has extensive experience in education and creative leadership. Currently serving as the Senior Associate Director of College Counseling and an English Teacher at Columbia Grammar and Preparatory School since 2002, Janet previously held the position of Student Teacher at Stuyvesant High School for a brief period in 2002. Prior to transitioning into education, Janet was the EVP and Group Creative Director at Young & Rubicam Group from 1998 to 2001 and founded Door Number 2, serving as President from 1995 to 1998. Additionally, Janet was the Managing Partner and Executive Creative Director at NW Ayer from 1985 to 1995. Janet holds a Master’s degree from Teachers College, Columbia University, and a Bachelor’s degree from Sarah Lawrence College.
