Christopher J. Doherty

Christopher J. Doherty is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in finance, law, and governance. Serving as Managing Director at Columbia Partners Private Capital since 2003, Doherty has held prominent positions on various boards, including Member of the Board of Trustees for both the Johns Hopkins Suburban Hospital Foundation and Johns Hopkins Medicine. Additionally, leadership roles included Chairman of the Board at Suburban Hospital and Deputy Treasurer for the Commonwealth of Massachusetts. Doherty's legal expertise is backed by a JD from Georgetown University Law Center and a BA in Government from Harvard University. A former Deputy Chief of Staff for Senator Edward Kennedy, Doherty also boasts a background in athletics with USA Rugby.
