Ryan Calder

Ryan has over a decade of engineering, operations, and leadership experience. Prior to C-Power he served as the VP of Engineering at WAVE Charging. Throughout his career Ryan has had the opportunity to lead and grow engineering teams and technology with experience ranging from developing emerging technology to growing an established industrial product line used worldwide. He has participated in standards development at SAE, accomplished the first ever UL field evaluation of WAVE 50kW and 250kW wireless charging systems, and supported over 7MW of customer electrification projects throughout the USA. Ryan received his M.S. degree from the University of Wisconsin-Madison as a part of the WEMPEC group under Professor Robert D. Lorenz. He also holds a B.S. in Electrical Engineering from Utah State University.
