Amr Awad

Amr Awad is a seasoned professional in apparel product costing and sourcing, currently serving as the Global Apparel Product Costing Engineer Manager at Columbia Sportswear Company since January 2012. In this role, Amr collaborates with developers and category teams to analyze factory cost breakdowns and their effects on margin, while providing scenario analyses to reach target gross price margins. Previously, as the Apparel Sr. Costing for the Strategic Response Team, Amr executed sourcing strategies for the women’s lifestyle category to align with corporate profitability objectives. Prior experience includes roles as Sourcing Manager at Streetwear, Inc., Offshore Production/Sourcing Manager at Griffin Manufacturing, and Production Coordinator/Quality Controller at A/EX Apparel Inc. Amr holds a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from Cairo University.
