Chrissy Mecklenborg

Chrissy Mecklenborg currently serves as Corporate Secretary and Associate General Counsel at Columbia Sportswear Company since July 2019, with prior experience as Associate General Counsel for Corporate Governance and Securities. Before joining Columbia Sportswear, Chrissy held the position of Senior Associate Attorney in the Global Corporate Practice at Squire Patton Boggs from August 2013 to July 2019, where responsibilities included advising a Special Committee of an NYSE-listed controlled company on transaction fairness. Additional experience includes summer internships in 2008 and 2009 with the United States Senate, focusing on the Environment and Public Works Committee and the Health Policy Shop of the Health Education Labor and Pensions Committee. Educational credentials include a Bachelor of Arts in Economics and Biological Sciences from Vanderbilt University, a Doctor of Law from The Ohio State University Moritz College of Law, and an MBA from the University of Oregon Lundquist College of Business.
