Joe Waid

Joe Waid is an experienced engineering manager with a demonstrated history in DevOps and foundational engineering. Currently serving as Manager of Observability and Foundational Engineering and Manager of Delivery Engineering at Columbia Sportswear Company since February 2021, Joe previously held various managerial and engineering roles at NAVEX Global from February 2014 to February 2021, where significant contributions included building a DevOps team and introducing automation to streamline deployment processes. With earlier experience at organizations such as Sage, Biamp Systems, and Harland Financial Solutions, Joe has developed a solid foundation in software engineering, build systems, and quality assurance. Joe graduated with a BS in Software Engineering Technology from the Oregon Institute of Technology in 2001.
