Owen Kessel

Owen Kessel is an experienced apparel designer specializing in mens sportswear, currently holding the position of Apparel Designer II at Columbia Sportswear Company since January 2024. Prior to this role, Owen served as an Assistant Designer at J.Crew from October 2021 to January 2024, working on both mens and boys' clothing. Owen's initial tenure at Columbia Sportswear Company involved providing research, illustrations, and creating technical design sketches as an Assistant Designer from July 2021 to October 2021. In addition, Owen co-founded Humanity Garden and completed an Apparel Design Internship at Creative Capital Design. Educational background includes a degree in Product Design with an emphasis on Fashion/Apparel Design from the University of Oregon and additional studies at Parsons School of Design.
