Richard Gard

Richard Gard is a seasoned IT professional with a robust background in infrastructure engineering and systems administration. Currently serving as a Principal Infrastructure Engineer at Columbia Sportswear Company since May 2017, Richard has over 12 years of experience in various roles, including Senior Systems Engineer at Umpqua Bank and Senior Systems Administrator at Integra Telecom. Key areas of expertise include VMWare ESX, Commvault Backups, NetApp Storage, and Windows Administration. Richard began a career in technology with roles in customer service and technical support and holds two Associate degrees in Computer Information Systems and General Studies from Portland Community College, attained between 1995 and 2000.
