Jessica Detsch

Jessica Detsch currently serves as the Sand System Manager at Columbia Steel Casting Co Inc, a position held since August 2019. In this role, responsibility includes managing the complete sand system, overseeing raw materials quality control, formulating and testing molding sand, and optimizing sand reclamation processes, which achieved a 50% reduction in new sand costs while enhancing quality and safety. Prior to this, Jessica worked as a Research Scientist II and R&D Sample Preparation Group Leader at Phenomenex from March 2014 to December 2018. Jessica holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Chemistry from UC Irvine, earned in 2009.
