Zaid Rami Sahawneh

Zaid Rami serves as the President of the Columbia Political Science Students Association, where responsibilities include managing financial matters and expanding club opportunities through initiatives like a funded research trip to Washington D.C. As the International Humanitarian Law Chair for the American Red Cross, Zaid Rami organizes fundraisers and educational events addressing global issues, while also conducting research on humanitarian law. Zaid Rami works as a Research Assistant at Columbia University, assisting Professor Eunji Kim with studies related to media bias and politics. In addition, Zaid Rami contributes as an Online Writer for the Columbia Undergraduate Law Review, engages in legal internships with the Dutchess County Public Defender’s Office and Fakhoury Law, PC, and has prior experience as a Congressional Intern. Zaid Rami is pursuing a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and Middle Eastern Studies at Columbia University.
