Abhishek Jain

Abhishek Jain, MD, serves as an Assistant Clinical Professor of Psychiatry at Columbia University Department of Psychiatry and the New York State Psychiatric Institute since July 2021. Currently, Jain holds the position of Medical Director for the Division of Forensic Services at the New York State Office of Mental Health, a role undertaken since June 2020. Previously, Jain was the Director of Forensic Psychiatric Evaluation Court Clinics at NYC Health + Hospitals from April 2018 to May 2020. Jain's career includes significant roles at UPMC from August 2012 to June 2017, where contributions included serving as Program Director for the Forensic Psychiatry Fellowship, Medical Director of Forensic Psychiatric Services, Assistant Professor of Psychiatry, and Medical Director of the Psychiatric Consultation Service at UPMC East. Educational credentials comprise a Doctor of Medicine (MD) from Northeast Ohio Medical University (NEOMED) and further training at Columbia University, Case Western Reserve University, Cleveland Clinic Lerner College of Medicine, and the University of Pittsburgh/Western Psychiatric Institute and Clinic.
