Veronika Kobrinsky is a Clinical Psychology PhD student at the University of Wisconsin-Madison, under the guidance of Brooke A. Ammerman, PhD, since August 2024. Currently, Veronika also serves as a CRP Doctoral Researcher for The International Society for the Study of Self-Injury, working with Jennifer J. Muehlenkamp, PhD. Additional research experience includes a graduate research assistant position in the Suicide Prevention – Training, Implementation & Evaluation project at Columbia University and the New York State Psychiatric Institute, collaborating with Christa Labouliere, PhD, and Maureen Monahan, PhD. Veronika has held various roles such as Lab Manager and Research Assistant at Fordham University, and has been involved with organizations like Psi Chi and Alpha Sigma Nu since 2020. Practical experience includes serving as a Crisis Counselor for Crisis Text Line and working as a Pediatric and Adolescent Medical Assistant at Ocean Pediatrics. Veronika earned a Master's degree in Clinical Psychology from Teachers College, Columbia University, and a Bachelor's degree in Psychology from Fordham University.
