Aanya Bahl is currently a Graduate Research Assistant-Data Analyst at Columbia University Irving Medical Center, focusing on the epidemiology of plasma-based biomarkers in Alzheimer’s Disease under Drs. Richard Mayeux and Yian Gu. Concurrently, Aanya is engaged as a Part-Time Research Assistant and Independent Research Project Student at the University of Toronto's Einstein Lab, investigating the relationship between BRCA1 and BRCA2 mutations, prophylactic surgery, and Alzheimer's risk in women. Previous experience includes roles as a Laidlaw Scholar and a Summer Research Intern at the American Museum of Natural History, among others. Aanya has also contributed as an Associate Science Editor and Science Correspondent at Varsity Publications Inc., covering significant scientific events and topics. Aanya holds an Honours Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Toronto and is currently pursuing further education at Columbia University.
