Nana O. Sarpong, MD, MBA, currently serves as an Attending Surgeon in Adult Reconstruction and Joint Replacement Orthopaedic Surgery at both Columbia University Irving Medical Center and NewYork-Presbyterian Hospital, as well as an Assistant Professor in Orthopaedic Surgery at Columbia University Vagelos College of Physicians and Surgeons, since August 2022. Previously, Nana completed a fellowship in Adult Reconstruction & Joint Replacement Surgery at the Hospital for Special Surgery and held several leadership roles within the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons, including Resident Delegate and member of the Diversity Advisory Board. Education includes an MD from Tufts University School of Medicine, an MBA from Brandeis University, and a Bachelor of Science in Biology from Brandeis University. Additionally, Nana contributes to the community as a Board Member on the National Board of Directors of The Posse Foundation.
