Viggo Blomquist

Viggo Blomquist is currently a PhD student at Columbia University Irving Medical Center, a position held since September 2025. Prior to this, Viggo Blomquist worked at Tevard Biosciences from July 2021 to June 2025, advancing through various roles from Research Associate to Senior Research Associate II. Additionally, Viggo Blomquist coordinated the Saturday Science Program for the Undergraduate Columbia Neuroscience Society from September 2019 to July 2021 and conducted research as an Undergraduate Student Researcher in the Henry Colecraft Laboratory. Earlier experiences include a Summer Research Assistant role at the Robert Kass Laboratory and an Undergraduate Intern position at the Charles Zuker Laboratory. Interning at the University of Iowa Roy J. and Lucille A. Carver College of Medicine between 2014 and 2016 provided valuable early research exposure. Viggo Blomquist earned a degree from Columbia University from 2017 to 2021 and graduated with a high school diploma from Berkshire School in 2017.
