Haroon Oqab

Haroon B. Oqab is an accomplished leader and innovator in the space industry, currently serving on the Board of Directors at the Institute on AI for Space Sustainability and as Co-Founder and President of Kepler Space University. As Chief Executive Officer of Kepler Space Institute and President of Columbiad Launch Services, Haroon has showcased a strong commitment to advancing space technologies. With a diverse background, including roles as Director at Metasat UK Ltd and Founder and Chief Space Architect at August Interstellar, Haroon has significant experience in both research and executive management. Educational credentials include multiple Master's degrees in Mechanical and Materials Engineering and Electrical and Computer Engineering, along with two Bachelor's degrees in Medical Biophysics and Kinesiology, all from Western University.
