Johanna O'Shea

Johanna O'Shea has a diverse work experience spanning over two decades. Johanna started their career as an Associate at Jones Day in 2000 before becoming a Senior Associate at Dorsey & Whitney LLP in 2006. In 2016, they joined ASX as a Senior Adviser, Legal and Compliance, where they worked until 2018. From 2018 to 2019, they served as the Company Secretary and Governance Advisor at Commonwealth Bank. Johanna then moved to GrainCorp in 2019, where they held the role of Group Legal Counsel and Deputy Company Secretary until 2020. In 2020, they joined Westpac as a Legal Counsel and Senior Manager, Board Governance, until 2021. Currently, they are working at ColCap as the Chief Legal, Risk and Governance Officer.

Johanna O'Shea obtained a Bachelor of Laws (LLB) and a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Technology Sydney between 1994 and 1998. Johanna later pursued a Graduate Diploma in Applied Corporate Governance from the Governance Institute of Australia in 2015 and 2016.
