Columbus House is one of New Englands most comprehensive providers of homeless and other services. In 1982 Columbus House opened its doors to the hungry and homeless in New Haven, CT. Hundreds streamed through our doors and challenged our ability to keep pace with demand. Quickly, our goals as a not-for-profit organization broadened from food, shelter and simple survival, to understanding and overcoming the problems leading to homelessness.
