Ava Lacy

Ava Lacy is a dedicated Bioengineering student at The Ohio State University, expected to graduate in 2024. Currently serving as an iGEM Member since January 2023 and a Banquet Assistant at the Columbus Museum of Art since August 2021, Ava has gained valuable experience in engineering and technology through an internship at Reuter-Stokes, where responsibilities included designing tests for fiber optic cables and analyzing data using Python. Additionally, Ava worked as an Undergraduate Research Assistant at The Ohio State University College of Engineering, focusing on gear tooth bending fatigue experiments, CAD modeling, and the development of Standard Operating Procedures for test equipment. Ava graduated with an Honors High School Diploma from Dublin Jerome High School.
