Darlene Taylor is a multidisciplinary artist and accomplished leader in the literary and cultural arts fields. Currently serving as a Solo Exhibitionist at the Academy Art Museum, Taylor is also recognized as a Multidisciplinary Artist in residence at the Columbus Museum of Art. In addition to artistic endeavors, Taylor holds positions as Executive Director of the PEN/Faulkner Foundation and founding President of INKPEN, where advocacy for writers and community engagement is emphasized. Taylor's experience includes strategic counsel for the Walker Marchant Group and managing cultural heritage initiatives at the Waterman Steele Group, alongside teaching roles at Howard University and formerly at Hampton University. Educational qualifications encompass a Master’s Degree in Creative Writing from Stonecoast - University of Southern Maine, and a BA in Journalism and History from American University.
