Manager Of Community Engagement at Columbus Museum of Art

Lauren Emond is an experienced professional in community engagement and arts program management, currently serving as the Manager of Community Engagement at the Columbus Museum of Art since November 2013, and previously held the position of Member Relations Manager. Prior to this, Lauren was the Director of Programs and Outreach at the Peggy R. McConnell Arts Center from February 2012 to October 2013, and worked as a Freelance Event Coordinator for the City of Columbus Cultural Arts Center in 2011, coordinating the ARTIST inFORMAL event and producing artistic content. Lauren's earlier roles include Arts Coordinator for the City of Upper Arlington and Program Manager/Artist/Development Associate at the Art for a Child's Safe America Foundation. Lauren began a career in the arts as a Photography Intern at the Ohio Division of Wildlife. Lauren holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in Photography from The Ohio State University, obtained in 2003.
