Adam Young

Vice President at Columbus Radiology

Adam Young has a diverse work experience in the medical field. Adam is currently working at Columbus Radiology as the Vice President of Operations and Rad Experience, and they are also a Partner Radiologist and Body Imager. Adam joined Columbus Radiology in May 2020, initially serving as a Partner Radiologist and Operations and Recruiting Lead before moving into their current role.

In addition to their work at Columbus Radiology, Adam has been involved with various professional organizations. Adam is a member of the Focused Task Force on State Legislation and the Membership Committee at The Ohio State Medical Association since April 2021. Adam is also an Alternate Delegate for the Young Physicians Section at the association. At the Society of Abdominal Radiology, Adam is a member of the Early Career Committee since January 2020. Adam is also a member of the Committee Practice Parameters at the American College of Radiology since June 2018.

Prior to joining Columbus Radiology and getting involved in professional organizations, Adam worked as a Medical Consultant at Empirical Resources, LLC from March 2015 to July 2020. Adam also served as an Associate Radiologist specializing in Body Imaging at Northside Radiology PC from July 2019 to May 2020.

Adam has gained extensive training and experience through various educational institutions. Adam completed their Abdominal Imaging and Cross-Sectional Intervention Fellowship at UCLA Health from July 2018 to June 2019. During this time, they also held a position as a Clinical Instructor at the David Geffen School of Medicine at UCLA. Prior to that, Adam pursued a Clinical Fellowship in Diagnostic Radiology at Harvard Medical School, specifically focusing on musculoskeletal imaging and developing a strong foundation in general radiology from July 2014 to June 2018. Adam also served as a Resident Physician in Diagnostic Radiology at Brigham and Women's Hospital during the same period.

Adam Young completed their Bachelor of Science degree in Business with a concentration in Finance from Miami University's Richard T. Farmer School of Business in the years 2004 to 2008. Afterward, they pursued their Doctor of Medicine (MD) degree from The Ohio State University College of Medicine between 2008 and 2013. Additionally, they also obtained an MBA degree from The Ohio State University's Fisher College of Business from the years 2010 to 2013, specializing in Health/Health Care Administration/Management and Innovation Theory.
