Carl Jordaan

Carl Jordaan is an accomplished engineering professional with extensive experience in the stainless steel manufacturing industry, currently serving as Business Unit Manager Utilities at Columbus Stainless (Pty) Ltd since April 2014. With a career at Columbus Stainless that began in October 2004, Carl has held various roles including Senior Engineering Manager for Cold Products and Area Manager, overseeing the performance of multiple production units while ensuring safety, cost, and quality objectives are met. Responsibilities have included managing process lines, mechanical maintenance, and chemical treatments, as well as executing significant engineering projects such as the Acid Regeneration Plant reactor replacement and upgrades to production lines. Carl holds a Bachelor of Engineering in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Cape Town and the University of Pretoria, along with qualifications in Engineering and Factory management from the Department of Labour and the Engineering Council of South Africa.
