Christine du Plessis

Christine du Plessis is an experienced finance professional with expertise in costing and inventory management. Currently serving as the Manager of Costing at Columbus Stainless (Pty) Ltd since May 2020, Christine is responsible for ensuring accurate inventory costing, preparing detailed business reports, and ensuring compliance with statutory requirements. Prior to this role, Christine worked as a Cost Accountant at Bakos Brothers from July 2017 to May 2020, where key responsibilities included analyzing costs associated with raw materials and labor. Christine also held the position of Cost Accountant at Columbus Stainless (Pty) Ltd from January 2013 to June 2017 and began the career as a Graduate in Training at the same company, gaining foundational experience in various financial areas. Christine holds a Bachelor of Commerce (BCom) degree in Finance and Financial Management Services from the University of Pretoria, completed between 2010 and 2012.
