Columbus Symphony
Mia Dela Cruz is a multifaceted individual currently serving as a Music Instructor at Do Re Mi Project Inc. and as a Peer Tutor at Schoolhouse.world, while also performing as a violinist in the Columbus Symphony Youth Orchestras. Mia's experience includes participation as a Student Musician at the VIVO Music Festival and a Student Research Intern at The Ohio State University, where experiments on semiconductor samples were conducted. Additionally, Mia was selected for the intensive Mechanisms of Human Health & Disease program at Nationwide Children's Hospital and held various leadership roles during a fellowship at Chamber Music Connection. Education includes time at Columbus School for Girls, participation in Girls Who Code, and earlier involvement in MD Camp at The Ohio State University College of Medicine.
