Joye Griffin Taylor

Joye Griffin Taylor has a diverse work experience in the field of communications and public relations. Joye started their career at AT&T as an Assistant Public Relations Manager and later became a Public Relations Manager for the Creative Services department. Joye then joined MCI WorldCom as a Senior Communications Specialist in Human Resources, where they created integrated communications solutions during a merger. Joye then moved on to WorldCom, where they held various roles including Media Relations Manager for the Business Markets Division and the Network Operations and Technology Division. At Ruesch International, they worked as a Corporate Communications Manager and Strategic Marketing Team Leader. Joye also gained experience as a Press Secretary at UNCF (United Negro College Fund). After that, they joined Goodwill Industries International as a Public Relations Manager, where they managed crisis communications and served as a spokesperson for the organization. Currently, Joye is working at Columbus Technologies and Services as a Communications Lead, where they plan and implements strategic communications plans for National Cancer Institute audiences.

Joye Griffin Taylor pursued their education at Fairleigh Dickinson University from 1996 to 1998, where they obtained a Master of Arts (M.A.) degree in Corporate and Organizational Communication. Prior to that, they attended the University of Virginia from 1991 to 1995, completing their Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in Rhetoric and Communication Studies.
