Meghan Birr

Meghan Birr has a diverse work experience spanning different industries. Meghan started their career as a Restaurant Manager at River Rock Grill in 2012, where they were responsible for managing accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll. Meghan then worked as a Senior Counselor at Camp Nashoba Day for several summers, where they gained experience in counseling and leading various activities. After that, they worked as an After School Teacher at Brackett Elementary School, where they planned daily activities for a second-grade classroom. Meghan then transitioned to working as a Teacher at Kids-A-Lot Country Day School, where they were the lead teacher of a transitional 4-year-old classroom, developing curriculum and providing care and guidance.

In 2014, Meghan entered the hospitality industry, joining TPG Hotels and Resorts as a Sales Assistant, where they managed the Sales Office and handled property management systems. Meghan then progressed to become a Corporate Sales Manager, responsible for securing corporate business, negotiating contracts, and generating revenue for the hotel. Meghan also served as a Senior Sales Manager, overseeing the Sales Office, and as an Area Group Sales Manager.

In 2018, Meghan joined Colwen Hotels as a Market Sales Manager and later became an Area Director of Sales at Interstate Hotels & Resorts. Meghan then worked as a Senior Sales Manager at the Boxboro Regency Hotel & Conference Center, leading sales operations for a hotel with extensive event space and guest rooms.

Currently, Meghan Birr works as an Area Director of Sales - Task Force at Colwen Hotels.

Meghan Birr attended Endicott College from 2007 to 2011, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Hospitality Administration/Management. Prior to that, they attended Nashoba Regional Highschool from 2003 to 2007. In addition to their education, Meghan Birr holds a certification as a Licensed Massachusetts Real Estate Salesperson from The Massachusetts Board of Registration of Real Estate Brokers and Salespersons.
