Jimmy Wilson

Jimmy Wilson, M.Ed., currently serves as a Creative Writing and Pre-AP English Teacher at Comal Independent School District since November 2019. Previously, Jimmy was a Fulbright Fellow and Visiting Professor at the University of Bucharest from October 2018 to October 2022 and held the position of Impact Manager and Instructional Coach at City Year Dallas from June 2016 to June 2017. In earlier roles, Jimmy taught English at Dallas Independent School District, where significant improvements in student performance were achieved, and contributed to the development of various programs to enhance student engagement and attendance. Additional teaching experience includes positions with Teach For America, Lewisville ISD, and Breakthrough Collaborative. Jimmy holds a Master of Education from Southern Methodist University and a Bachelor of Arts in English from the University of North Texas.
