Mia Garcia currently serves as the Executive Director of the Texas Veterans Network at Combined Arms, a position held since May 2020. Prior to this role, Mia held several key positions at NextOp Veterans, including Programs Director and Talent Acquisition Manager, working to connect veterans with opportunities in the energy sector. Experience also includes serving as a Staffing Specialist for Military Recruiting at Baker Hughes, where Mia contributed to the organization being ranked among the Top 100 Military Friendly Employers. Additionally, Mia managed the Veteran Career Transition program at the Lone Star Veterans Association, showcasing strong project management skills and achieving high hiring rates for veterans. Mia's career began in the United States Marine Corps, where leadership, logistics, and budget management were foundational skills developed over a decade of service. Educational credentials include a Certificate in Non-Profit/Public/Organizational Management from Rice University and a Bachelor of Science in Health Promotion from the University of Houston.
