Charlie Glassenberg

Vice President, Risk Management And Investment Partnerships at Combined Jewish Philanthropies

Charlie Glassenberg has a diverse work experience spanning over several organizations. Charlie began their career as an Administrative Specialist for Tracking at Combined Jewish Philanthropies in Boston in 1997. In 1999, they joined Harvard School of Public Health as a Manager of Information Services. Charlie then moved to Hebrew SeniorLife in 2002, where they served as the Director of Development Operations until 2004 and then as the Director of Planned Giving until 2008. From 2008 onwards, Charlie served as the Vice President of Risk Management and Investment Partnerships at Combined Jewish Philanthropies, where they oversaw a $1.7 billion donor advised fund program and promoted planned giving techniques among key advisors.

Charlie Glassenberg attended Amherst College from 1990 to 1994 where they received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Geology. Afterward, from 1994 to 1996, they pursued a Master of Arts degree in Earth & Planetary Science at The Johns Hopkins University. In 2002 to 2004, Charlie earned a Certificate in Financial Planning from Boston University.
