John Satti has a diverse and extensive work experience in supply chain management and production planning. John currently holds the position of Vice President of Supply Chain at Combined Metals since January 2023. Prior to this, they worked at thyssenkrupp Materials NA, Copper and Brass Sales Division, where they held the role of Supply Chain Director from October 2018 to January 2023 and Director of Business Process from March 2015 to October 2018.

Before joining thyssenkrupp, John worked at thyssenkrupp Steel as the Director of Production Planning from June 2011 to March 2015. John also gained valuable experience at ArcelorMittal USA, where they held various managerial roles including Scheduling Manager from December 2010 to June 2011, Operations Planning Manager from March 2007 to December 2010, and Practice Engineer from January 2005 to March 2007.

Prior to joining ArcelorMittal, they worked at Eaton as a Test Engineer from November 1993 to June 1994. Overall, John Satti's work experience showcases their expertise in supply chain management, production planning, and engineering.

John Satti completed their education at various institutions over the years. John began their academic journey in 1988 at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign, where they obtained a Bachelor's degree in Metallurgical Engineering in 1992. Following this, they pursued further studies at the same institution and obtained a Master's degree in Metallurgical Engineering in 1993. Later, from 1996 to 2002, John attended Indiana University Northwest, where they earned a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree with a focus on Finance, General.

Illinois & Michigan service centers offer precision slitting, custom buffing with coil to coil and custom wet and dry polishing. Another addition to our equipment and services is our precision strip corrective leveler and punch presses. Our three precision cold rolling mills in Illinois & Connecticut offer capabilities of strip down to .0008” and some widths up to 41”. The mills are supported with multiple bright annealing furnaces capable of producing annealing thicknesses as low as .002″ (.005cm) and multiple slitting units that process a wide range of coil widths and weights. Multiple tension levelers can ensure flatness measurements as low as one I unit on annealed or full-hard materials. In addition, the tension leveler can process coils as large as 900 PIW (16kg/mm) for long production runs. Sycamore location manufactures high quality wire, bar, straightened & cut lengths and shaped wire in an extensive range of Nickel and Cobalt based alloys and special stainless steel grades. Flexible custom manufacturing allows us to offer a few pounds to many thousands of pounds with short, reliable lead times.
